Reuse of Magnesol® for Purification of Biodiesel

Purification of biodiesel with dry adsorbents is an alternative method, as it uses compounds that eliminate the need for water in process without generating liquid effluent. Currently, there little discussion about reuse different types and this context, present work presents efficient method purification investigates performance Magnesol® order to generate less waste environment. Therefore, used was washed several solvents polarity characteristics. Among tested, THF best solvent and, after optimizing process, concluded conditions are three washes / adsorbent ratio 30:1 at room temperature, resulting only 3.89% residual value contaminants being companies.
